The Council of American Jewish Museums organizes regional learning opportunities for colleagues in various cities and locales. Through networking, conversation, and special access to work in the region, CAJM colleagues come together as a local community.
In New York City, our members convene seasonally at area museums for special programs with leading curators and scholars. Gatherings have included private tours and discussions of the Jewish Museum's new collection presentation, Scenes from the Collection; Sotheby’s sale of Judaica and Israeli Art; the Museum of the City of New York's exhibition, New York's Yiddish Theater: From the Bowery to Broadway; and the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s exhibition, Jerusalem 1000–1400: Every People Under Heaven.
New Regional Groups are being established for Washington, DC and Los Angeles. If you are interested in joining these learning communities or starting a new group in your region, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
